Heka Incorporated is a Massachusetts vertically integrated medical/adult cannabis company, looking for an energetic IT manager to join our team, as we build our company to three locations within 2021-2022.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:
You will be required to work on-site and assist with hardware installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, security camera systems, and basic IT related issues.

Essential Functions:

Work involves most of the following:

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
  • Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
  • Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
  • Providing basic training on computer operation and management.
  • Facilitate high quality IT products with minimal facility impact, on time, on schedule, on budget.
  • Some crossover social media work, website and other duties as sometime needed by executive management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be highly mobile, able to access all areas of the premises;
  • Ability to concentrate and remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects;
  • Ability to work over eight hours in a work day, and over 40 in a work week as necessary;
  • Must be able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of equipment of at least 50 pounds.
  • Use of close vision and fine motor skills to detect quality issues
  • Occasional communication with management or other employees.
  • Is frequently required to use arms, hands and fingers to reach and grasp.
  • Vision abilities including close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Some weekend & holiday work for emergencies
